Natural Migraine Relief

It’s true, Migraines suck.  


For those of you who don’t know, migraines are not headaches. Many get the two confused, because the two terms usually intertwine together when it comes to “pain in the brain.” But with the research I have found, they actually aren’t the same. In fact, Migraines are actually a neurological disease, and they usually come with symptoms such as nausea, sensitivity to lights, distorted vision, throbbing pain behind eyes/temples, and I can go on.  Although the level of pain for headaches can be just as painful, they usually only occur on both sides of the head, while migraines will usually occur on one side.

For years, I have suffered with chronic migraines. The pain is relentless and inevitable. You can always feel the aching pangs of a migraine coming hours before, and when it comes, it comes to hurt… really bad. I’ve lost my vision in the midst of a migraine episode plenty of times, I’ve even sat by my toilet waiting for my body to throw up with covers over my head because of the deep sensitivity to light and deep urge to vomit because of the pain being so antagonizing. So, for my migraine sufferers, I want you to know that you are not alone.
So, with that being said, I decided to share with you a natural remedy that I recently discovered and started to use. So far, for me it personally works, and it feels great not having to pop a few pain relievers and go natural. 

So what is it? 

Natural Essential Oils: Peppermint and Lavender 

I recently started using this after being gifted a box of oils from my mother and Law, and it works! 
So what do you do? You mix the two oils together: lavender and peppermint oil and you rub them on your temples and scalp, and you’ll begin to feel the two ultimately working together for your good the natural way… 

My only advice would be to reapply every 15-30 minutes because as we all know migraines love to camp in our minds for hours and even days!
