“And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.” – Romans 16:20
Warrior in Christ, have you been on the ground to long, letting the enemy defeat you? Have you just felt like you have nowhere to turn, and no further to go? Have you just felt like completely giving up, and dropping out of the army of God? Has the devil been playing games with your mind for too long, setting up traps, treating you as prey, and just downright fighting you in ways that you’ve never been fought before? This message is for you. God has come to deliver you today, but it’s only on one condition…
You must get back up
I know how it feels to have a mind in a place that you’re too embarrassed to even share with anyone, because it’s just that bad! I know what it’s like to feel like you’ve done enough praying, and enough of reading the word of God, and you just don’t feel like you’ve received any positive results in return. I know what’s it’s like to hurt in the church because of trials, and you just feel like no one hears you. Where you’ve just completely gone into a place, where you know for a fact, that the devil wants to knock you out cold, leave you for dead, and downright do you dirty. Trust me, I know.
“For a rigtheous man falleth seven times, and riseth again. But the wicked shall fall into mischief.”
– Proverbs 24:16
God knew that there would be storms and trials that would rise and head our way, and knock us to the ground. He knew that we would fall. But it’s up to us to place all of our faith completely in him, lean on him, and get back up.. Because He told us to. God told us to rise, and that we are more than conquerors through Him. In the first verse above, God is telling us that he will crush Satan under our feet shortly, but how can the enemy be crushed under our feet, if we’re still on the ground? We have to be standing tall and confident in the Lord, if we want to conquer the battle, and declare victory.
So, Today, I encourage you to get back up, and fight the enemy with the same amount force that he has been fighting you with, but much greater, because you have God on your side. Grow not weary in well doing, and faint not my brothers and sisters, because you shall reap everlasting joy if you faint not. The enemy is a liar, and wants to destroy you. But today, I stand in the gap for you in prayer, and I pray that you be strengthened and renewed in Christ, and that you get back up today as you read this. You can do this. Get back up. Declare that you won’t be defeated. Declare that you have won the victory because you are a child of God and are a soldier in his army. Be strong in the Lord brothers and sisters. Love you all. My prayers be with you always, amen.
